Connect a REDCap project
Basilias currently offers a REDCap integration. The connection form stores a project’s API endpoint and token, then lets you test the connection before relying on it in your workspace.
What you need
Have these details from the REDCap project administrator before you begin:
- The REDCap API URL
- An API token for the project
Keep the token private. Do not share it in email, chat, or public documentation.
Add the integration
- Open Integrations.
- Select Add integration.
- Choose REDCap as the integration type.
- Enter a recognizable name and optional description.
- Enter the project’s API URL and API Token.
- Select Test connection.
- Confirm the returned project title and available instruments are the project you expected.
- Select Create integration.
After it is created, Basilias tests the connection and displays its current status in the integrations table.
Maintain the connection
Use the actions beside an integration to test it again, edit its connection details, or delete it. Editing the endpoint or token returns the integration to verification so you can confirm the updated credentials work.
If a connection test fails, verify the endpoint, token, and the API permissions granted in REDCap with your project administrator.
Note: The current integration picker lists REDCap. Other integration types shown in the interface are marked as future additions, so this guide does not describe setup for them.
