Create and publish services

Services are the appointments clients can select on your public booking page. Depending on your organization profile, Basilias may call them treatments, services, or consultations. The setup is the same.

Before you start

To make a service available online, you will need at least one team member who is qualified to perform it and a recurring availability window for that person. You can create the service first, then complete those steps afterward.

Create a service

  1. Open Services.
  2. Select Add service or Add treatment.
  3. Enter a clear name. This is the headline clients see on the booking card.
  4. Add a public description, duration, and optional price.
  5. Optionally add internal notes. Internal notes are for your team and are not shown to clients.
  6. Add pre-appointment instructions if clients need preparation guidance. These instructions are copied to the booking and shown in the confirmation email.
  7. Save the draft to continue later, or continue through the remaining steps.

Add images and qualified providers

After the initial details are saved, the service editor includes steps for images and qualifications.

  1. Add an image if it will help clients recognize the service on the booking page.
  2. Open Who can perform this treatment?
  3. Select every team member trained and approved to provide the service.
  4. Review the live preview, then select Publish treatment.

Published services can still be edited. A draft is not yet public, and an archived service is kept in the catalog but removed from the usual active list.

What clients see

The public page lists active, bookable services. A card can include its image, name, public description, price, and duration. A service needs at least one qualified provider with matching availability before clients will find an open time.

Tip: Leave deposits turned off for now. Deposit fields exist in the service editor, but deposit-required services are not available through the current public booking flow.

Next: invite your team, then set qualifications.
